Review Time : HTC 10

HTC 10, successor to company's most popular and successful flagship One M9, was launched a few days back and is available in stores now.

So as far as the smartphone tag is concerned HCT 10 stands firmly there with variety of additional specs to brace. It's been that the device is quite under rated in the market for a lot of things but the phone stands out to be quite good actually. Its really good at a lot of things and can be considered as a complete package. It kinda gives the phone the classic HTC design. Another most under rated or ignored thing about the new device is its really nice and textured power and volume buttons which compliments its awesome built quality.

Talking first things first, HTC 10 features a all metal body with flat sides with chamfer edges which makes the phone easy to handle and less slippery instead of a all metal body. The chamfer edge of the device looks preety awesome as it reflects light when viewed at different angles.
On talking about the weak points of the body, the phone is not IP 68 water and dust resistant but it is still IP 53 if sources are to be believed.

The phone also nails in this department as it showcases a 5.2 inch Quad HD Super LCD display which is quite bright and delivers a better picture quality and viewing angles and quite accurate and colour vibrant. It is not the brightest display available in market right now but gives considerable readability in direct sunlight.

Comparing this flagship to previous one's which had amazing boom sound and front facing speakers, the HTC 10 features two speakers, one at the bottom which is the larger speaker for low frequency  and one in the front beside the earpiece for higher frequency and they work together as a woofer and twitter. Its sounds pretty good.

HTC 10 is loaded with a Snapdragon 820 chip for lightning fast performance , Adreno 550 GPU and gigantic 4 gb Ram with a micro sd card slot or expandable storage which are making their comeback in 2016 on every flagship launching.

Talking about the phone's performance, its pretty fast and smooth with no lag and effective multi-tasking. Adding to the pros the device is installed with super fluent and fast skin developed by HTC. HTC also offers a cynogen type mode to customise its theme from hundreds of available on the HTC theme store. One of the most revelutionary move done by HTC is the removal of its indigenous basic Apps and rather keeping it simple by collaborating with the google basic apps which makes it a lot easier phone to deal with less confusion. Finger print sensor is quick responsive although not the quikest in the market.

The flagship offers a powerful 3000 mah battery with backs up the whole day decent usage of the device. With 4.5 hours of screen on time.

HTC 10 is rocking a 12 megapixel camera with a f 1.8 aperture with optical image stabilisation, LED flash and laser auto-focus.Image quality is above average and you can get quite decent photos and 4k videos is good light.Colour accuracy is solid and is not over saturated. And with f 1.8 aperture you can definitely take blurred background photos too.Dynamic range is also very good. One can place this phone's camera in the top 10 camera list but its camera and image quality is no match to the best camera of Samsung S7 which is currently available in the market.

All together HTC 10 comes with quite good features and software, which is worth your money, though its not the perfect phone available.
