First Impression of LG G6 | DoctorTech

The first flagship phone of 2017 is launched by LG at the MWC 2017 and it's the LG G6 successor to the G5 which did not do wonders for the company . So the company finally showcased it's flagship model through which they are planning to compete with their rivalries in the smartphone world. Let's have a look at some of the first impressions of the flagship that LG is having high hopes with :-

Software :

LG G6 comes with an ANDROID 7.1 Nougat Update with LG customized skin/UI which looks more clean and features packed this time compared to last year.

Camera :

The flagship has Twin 13MP sensors with a standard lens and a 120 degree wide angle lens. Both these lens can be used simultaneously to produce a perfect high resolution wide angle picture.

Specifications :

LG G6 sports a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 821 Chip with Adreno 530 GPU , 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 2 TB through external micro sd card support and to power this beast LG has installed a 3300 mAh battery, with wireless charging, USB type-C, and last to mention, G6 is IP68 water and dust resistant phone.

Design :

LG G6 design has been changed completely with respect to the last year's G5 and no one can figure out that this phone is the successor of the G5. G6 is 7.6 mm thick device, which is not thick. LG has designed a premium full Glass and metal body frame with Gorilla Glass 4 in the front and back of the G6 with volume buttons at the side, fingerprint scanner at the back and down facing speakers on the bottom. Thing that requires applause is the company's effort to minimize the screen-to-body ratio of the device to 18:9 (aspect ratio), which means more space for the 5.7 inch IPS LCD Display that is 2880*1440 in resolution. Multi-tasking is a all time favorite task now. The bezels all over the phone are extremely slim and beautifully blended throughout.

Though a price tag hasn't being provided yet, it would be difficult to tell so early whether this flagship will be a worth buy of 2017 or not?
